Top New Coaster for 2013

In my first blog, I have decided to list my top 5 brand new roller coasters for 2013.What are you waiting for? Lets go!

5. Gold Striker

Gold Striker is coming to California's Great America for 2013. The wooden coaster climbs 108 feet in the    air before dropping you 103 feet. While hitting a top speed of 54 MPH, you will be sent through 3,000 feet of track including two 80 degree banked turns.

4. Iron Rattler

Coming to Six Flags Fiesta Texas is Iron Rattler. The steel coaster with wooden supports will send you 180 feet in the air through 3,000 feet of track and a top speed of 70 MPH. It will also send you upside-down. A first for a wooden roller coaster.

3. Full Throttle

Six Flags Magic Mountain is welcoming Full Throttle in 2013. The "answer to Maverick" features a 70 MPH launch, a world record 140 foot tall vertical loop, a "top hat" going over the loop, a BACKWARDS launch, and 2 inversions. A thrill? I think so.

2. Outlaw Run

Silver Dollar City's new woodie will be Outlaw Run. The 107 foot tall lift hill will drop you 68 MPH. 3,000 feet later, you will have gone through two barrel rolls and another near inversion after the first drop. This wooden coaster is sure to be a thrill.

1. Gatekeeper

My number 1 coaster for 2013 is Gatekeeper, coming to Cedar Point. This winged roller coaster will shatter many records. It will feature a 170 foot tall lift hill, a 164 foot drop, and 6 inversions including the worlds tallest inversion. You will also be sent through two "keyholes" similar to on X-Flight. This coaster is explained by too many words and will be amazing.
