New Top 5

If you remember from my first ever blog, my top 5 new coasters of 2013 were;

5. Gold Striker
4. Iron Rattler
3. Full Throttle
2. Outlaw Run
1. GateKeeper

Now as the coasters were being built and tested, I got some different opinions on coasters. So here is my brand new top 5 new coasters of 2013.

5. Hades 360 (Not on list)
4. Full Throttle (3)
3. Outlaw Run (2)
2. Iron Rattler (4)
1. GateKeeper (1)

Now keep in mind that even though Full Throttle and Outlaw Run dropped on the list, I still believe that they are or will be spectacular rides. Outlaw Run is one of the smoothest wooden rides on the planet and Full Throttle... I don't have any words for it. It looks like it will be intense. Worlds tallest loop, 3 launches, top hat. Most years that would be the #1 new ride of the year. But this year Gatekeeper looks like it will not disappoint. Especially the keyhole element  A zero-g-roll while going through two 100 foot towers. Cant get enough of that. And for Iron Rattler, after the animated POV came out, boy it turned my thoughts. You can call Iron Rattler my 1B. None the less, all of these coasters look like they will be a blast (with blast being an understatement). I truly cannot wait until the summer when these rides will be in full swing.
